Dafydd James Guests for Legends

Dafydd James Speaks at the Wales versus Australia Hospitality Event

Ex Wales and British Lions rugby star, Dafydd James, will be the guest speaker at the Legends Hospitality event for the Wales versus Australia test match on Saturday 5th November 2016.

Dafydd started his career in 1995 with Bridgend RFC and went on to represent Wales 51 times, scoring 11 tries.  In 2001, he also played in all 3 British and Irish Lions tests in Australia and scored 1 of the 4 tries in the opening series victory.

Most of his career was spent flying down the wing.  He was fast and his size (6ft 4 1/2 inches) meant that he often terrorized his opposite number.

After starting his rugby union career with Bridgend RFC, he went on to represent 8 different clubs.  He first made a name for himself at Sardis Road with Pontypridd, before moving west to Llanelli in 1999.  His longest club association was with the Welsh regional side, Llanelli Scarlets, where we made 72 appearances between 2005 and 2009, scoring .  points. His ended his rugby playing career with English premiership side Sale in 2010.

Since 2009, Dafydd has been a familiar face on TV as a rugby union sports pundit, but is also a motivational speaker, fitness coach and personal trainer.

The Legends Hospitality event at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cardiff gives rugby fans a chance to meet Dafydd and hear his thoughts on the chances of Wales beating Australia.  Further details on attending the hospitality event can be found on the website or by simply calling Paul Fielding on:
